Studio
County Stood is an independent project. It is built in the open, one phase at a time, and each phase ends with a build somebody outside the team can play.
How it gets built
Balance lives in data files, not in code, so weapon and bot tuning happens between playtests rather than between releases. Game logic is unit tested above eighty percent coverage. Every phase closes with an unlisted deploy and a real playtest on target hardware.

If it takes longer to start than to lose a round, the feature is wrong.
Rules run in one place
The simulation never touches the renderer, so it can move to a server without a rewrite.
Tuning is data
Weapons, bots and match rules are JSON. Changing them does not require a build.
